Writing a blog entry

What is a blog entry?
A blog entry is a post you write to be published online on a blog.

What is a blog entry about?
It is generally informal and very personal. You can be asked to tell a personal experience, an anecdote, a story, etc.

How do I write a blog entry?
A blog entry should have a title, summarising what the post is about.
You should start with an interesting sentence or question to make the reader want to continue reading.
You should also finish with an attractive sentence to leave a good impression on the reader.
Making direct questions and inviting the reader to leave a comment is recommended to personalise your post.
The register is usually quite informal so bear this in mind when choosing your connectors and vocabulary. Make it brief and catchy to attract the reader’s attention.

How do I structure my post?
As any other piece of writing, the entry blog will have the following structure:
1.     the opening paragraph (where you will introduce the topic or set the scene)

2.     the body (where the main composition of the entry will be posted, mention here the facts, events, your opinions, etc.)

3.     the closing paragraph (where you will try to round up everything)
