Pronunciation /i:/



The sound /i:/ is a long vowel and its usual spelling is -ee- as in feel, -ea- as in teach and -e- as in we but we can also find -eo- as in people, -ey- as in key or -ei- as in receipt.

The sound /ɑ:/ is found with the spelling -a- and -ar-, it's along vowel not too difficult to pronounce.

Housework

I love cooking and I don't mind cooking everyday, but housework.... housework is a different story!

Washing-up is ok, laying the table is not a problem either, but I never make the beds although I think I should do it and I hate ironing, I think it's really boring.
